Mercado Bitcoin plans to restore its platform in phases starting November 9.

Mercado Bitcoin said it will begin a phased restoration of its platform on Nov. 9, starting with website access so users can view balances, statements, assets and investments. Transfers, withdrawals and trading will reopen module by module once each passes final security checks following the security incident. The exchange said customers will not lose assets in the incident, with affected assets to be covered by the company's own funds. What remains to be seen is the pace at which the trading and withdrawal modules clear verification and return to full service.
