Yemen’s armed forces said they struck Houthi militia positions and movements across multiple fronts in Taiz. The announcement, relayed via First Squawk, marks another flare-up in the long-running Taiz theater rather than a nationwide escalation. Taiz has remained one of the conflict’s most contested governorates, with front lines shifting only gradually. The operation’s scale, casualty figures and whether it signals a broader push were not specified. Watch for follow-up statements from the Houthis and any impact on ceasefire or peace-talk momentum.
