Gotchi Labs has reached a partnership plan with Vana to integrate user-controlled data infrastructure into Sleepagotchi.

Gotchi Labs and decentralized data infrastructure project Vana announced a partnership to integrate Vana's user-controlled data infrastructure into Sleepagotchi, the AI health and sleep app that has surpassed 600,000 registered users, peaks at roughly 80,000 daily active users, covers more than 500,000 Jambo devices, and previously ranked first on the Solana Seeker app leaderboard. Under the plan, Sleepagotchi users will be able to connect personal health and sleep data through Vana and decide exactly what information and access rights to grant Gotchi AI, with the partners focusing on enriching personalized analysis for the AI Sleep Coach and other health management features while preserving user data control. The app already pulls wearable data via Apple Health on iOS and Health Connect on Android. The deal matters because it tests whether consent-based data infrastructure can power personalized AI services without centralized data custody, and it gives Vana a consumer-facing distribution channel with hundreds of thousands of users. Gotchi Labs said it also plans to expand its Consumer AI platform beyond health and sleep into fitness, nutrition, shopping, and productivity.
