1465 Attex consoles exposed to the internet... 21 domestic hosts

Censys reported on March 5 that 1,465 Artex management consoles are exposed to the internet, based on a March 4 census, with 21 of the affected hosts located in South Korea. The figure counts exposed hosts rather than attacks or victim organizations, and about 650 of them cluster in two identically configured server groups, leaving roughly 815 distinct deployments. The United States accounts for 726 hosts, followed by Hong Kong with 387, China with 177 and Japan with 51. Censys also detected other threat tools on 155 Artex hosts. The exposure matters because internet-facing management consoles widen the attack surface for the affected organizations, and the next thing to watch is whether operators restrict access to the roughly 815 distinct deployments.
