MID-TERM BREAK DATE: When does the November mid-term break start?

Turkey’s November school break will begin on November 10 and run through November 14, giving millions of students a five-day pause from classes and exams, according to the national education calendar. The mid-term holiday follows a weekend and is separate from the longer semester break, so families and schools are planning travel and childcare around the fixed dates. The schedule matters for attendance planning and for businesses such as tourism and tutoring that see demand shift during school holidays. Watch for any Ministry of National Education update confirming the calendar and for the next break dates later in the academic year.
