Temperatures will drop across the country: Downpour is increasing its effect

Turkey’s General Directorate of Meteorology said temperatures will fall by 3–5°C nationwide, with heavy rain expected across many regions and especially severe downpours flagged for Rize and Artvin. It also warned of strong winds and brief storms in three regions and snow in high-altitude areas of the east. The alert matters for agriculture, transport and energy demand as conditions shift abruptly. Watchers should track the Rize and Artvin rainfall warnings and any disruptions from wind, storms or eastern snow.
