Trump: Willing to work with Democrats, I have friends within the Democratic Party

President Trump said he is willing to work with Democrats and has friends across the aisle, though he has not spoken with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer or House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries since the election. He noted that other Democrats have reached out to him since the midterms and that cooperation would benefit the country, adding that "America has had enough." The remarks, made in an ABC News interview, signal a possible opening for bipartisan dealmaking after a divisive election cycle. Markets will watch whether the outreach translates into action on fiscal deadlines and spending negotiations.
